Determined, driven, and hungry for more, Jimmy Loup worked as a cook when he was 19 years old while attending Texas A&M University. His passion helped him work his way up to managing partner of the restaurant, but in the back of his mind he had always wanted to try out his own concept: a fast casual dining experience with unmatched hospitality. This seed of an idea grew stronger and more tangible as the years passed, and in 2011, Jimmy took a leap of faith, moved his family back to College Station, Texas and founded the first ever Grub in 2012.

Since that opening day, Grub has grown rapidly, our market now spanning from the East to West Coast, and only getting bigger. Yet through the chaos and excitement that accompanies success, one thing remains clear. Our growth comes not from sales, but the people that join us on our dream fueled journey.

From our “Grubsters” as our employees are called, to the neighborhoods we become a part of, each individual that works and visits Grub makes it what it is. Because of our diverse locations, no two visits are ever the same, but the experience, culture and quality of food always is. Grub started as a simple dream of making good food, served by good people, for good people, and to above all else help motivated people achieve their dreams. Without the courage to take the leap of faith, or the support system to catch you when you fall, dreams remain only dreams. So always know, at Grub, you do you, and we’ll always be there to cheer you on.
