Keep Your Resolutions with the Lighter Side of Grub

With the new year officially rung in, many of us are looking to trade in vice for virtue by adopting healthier habits. If you’re among those looking to clean up their act, fear not. You don’t have to relegate yourself to 365 days of kale, quinoa and lemon water. As it turns out, Grub Burger Bar has a lighter — and still delicious — side.

Lighter Side of Grub

Case in point: The Hippie Chickpea, a meat-free burger made with ground chickpeas and eggplant topped with roasted red pepper mayo, roasted red bell peppers, arugula, red onions, goat cheese and tabbouleh and served on a wheat bun.

Or check out the Wild-Caught Salmon, a burger made from hand-chopped wild-caught salmon and ancho chilis, complemented with the flavors of avocado, tequila lime aioli, fresh cilantro and our Black Bean & Charred Corn Medley and served on a white bun.

Then there’s the Jive Turkey, featuring ground and pest-seasoned turkey and topped with bacon, Swiss cheese, sprouts, avocado and chipotle aioli, all on a wheat bun.

Wanna go even lighter? Ask us to hold the bun and put your protein on a salad.

For your side, choose the Black Bean & Charred Corn Medley or our Roasted brussels sprouts, tossed in ancho lime vinaigrette & topped with queso fresco. Or go for a side salad.

Our deliciously fresh salads and bowls are always a good pick, too. We recommend the California Chicken Bowl (grilled chicken breast, bacon, black bean and charred corn medley, lettuce, Campari tomatoes, sprouts, queso fresco and ancho lime vinaigrette) or the Napa Salad (mixed greens, arugula, goat cheese, strawberries, black mission figs, toasted almonds and hazelnut vinaigrette.)

And if you haven’t yet downloaded our GrubLove app… resolve to do so immediately. You’ll get first dibs on sweet discounts like this one: through January only, come in 2 times for an entrée salad or bowl and, on your third visit, your salad or bowl is on us! Plus you can use your smartphone to order in advance, skip the lines and rack up points toward free Grub. Now that has all the makings of a happy new year!
