How do I earn points?
To earn points in-restaurant, open the app, then tap on ‘rewards’ from the bottom menu, then tap the ‘earn’ button. You can then scan your code at the cash register at the time of purchase or scan the barcode on the bottom of your receipt.
If you order through the app, you’ll automatically earn points and do not need to scan your receipt.
To earn points on online orders placed through the website, sign in with your Grub Love account.
You can earn points on all food and beverage purchases (including alcohol) however, you can not earn points on gift card purchases.
What can I do with my points?
When you reach 50 points, your points will automatically convert into a $5 reward that you can use on any food purchase. Banked reward credits are not eligible to be redeemed on alcohol or gift cards.
Do my earned points expire?
No, points do not expire.
Do my banked rewards expire?
Yes, your banked rewards will expire 90 days after issue.
How do I know how many rewards I have?
When you open the app, tap on ‘reward’ from the lower menu bar. If you have offers available, you’ll see these under the ‘earn’ and ‘redeem’ buttons. To view your banked rewards, tap ‘redeem’ and the next screen will show your banked rewards balance.
You can also select ‘more’ from the lower navigation menu. Next, tap on ‘Account History’ and you’ll be able to view all of your recent transaction, points balance, available rewards and number of offers.
How do I redeem my banked rewards?
To redeem in-restaurant:
- When you are in or near a Grub restaurant, open the app, click the ‘redeem’ button in the app and enter the amount of banked rewards you would like to use.
- Once you’ve chosen how much you would like to redeem, you can either place the QR code to the scanner found at the register OR give the 7-digit code to the cashier.
- After pressing redeem, you have 4 hours to use the code before it expires. If you are not able to redeem your reward within 4 hours, the banked reward or offer will be returned to your account if unused.
To redeem online:
Select ‘Rewards Available’ and choose which reward your would like to redeem.
You cannot redeem rewards on alcohol purchases.
How many receipts can I scan?
You can scan up to 3 receipts from the same visit. Additional receipts must have a time stamp of four hours after the time of your last scanned receipt.
How long do I have to scan my receipts?
You’ll need to scan the barcode on your receipt within 7 days of purchase.
How many redemptions can I use per visit?
You can use one offer or up to $50 in banked rewards per visit (within a four-hour period).
What if I did not receive the same number of points as I think I should get?
Points are given based on your pre-tax food and beverage purchase, rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Can I earn points and redeem rewards at any Grub restaurant?
You can earn or redeem points at any participating Grub restaurant. Tap ‘locations’ in the app to find a Grub near you!
Will my Grub Love rewards work at Hopdoddy Burger Bar?
No, but you can sign up for Doddy Rewards to use at Hopdoddy Burger Bar.
I scanned my receipt but I didn’t get my points.
Your points might be there! Refresh your screen by scrolling down on the screen and then releasing or select ‘more’ from the lower navigation menu. Next, tap on ‘Account History’ and you’ll be able to view all of your recent transaction, points balance, available rewards and number of offers.
If you are missing points or need help, send a message through the app.
Be sure to send a photo of your receipt with the barcode, subtotal, location and date in clear view.
I don’t have an iPhone or Android phone; can I still participate in the loyalty program?
Yes, please click here to join without an app.
Do I get anything for signing up?
Yes, you’ll get a free snack or side! Your reward will expire after 14 days. Your offer will be added to your account four hours after joining.
Do I get something for my birthday?
We’ll gift you with a free shake on your birthday that will expire after 14 days.
Do I get anything if I sign up through Facebook?
Yes, you’ll receive 10 bonus points in addition to the sign up offer.
How do I refer a friend?
In the app, tap on ‘more’ from the lower navigation menu. Tap on ‘Invite Friends’ and then ‘Invite’ to share your invitation code.
When your friend signs up and makes a purchase through the app, you’ll both receive 20 bonus points.
I share a phone with my family member or friend. Why didn’t we both get free rewards?
Only the first person to sign up on a device will receive a reward, even if you create different accounts under different email addresses.
Can I purchase gift cards through the app?
No, gift cards are only available for in-restaurant purchase or online here.
