Depending on where you live, it might not feel like it yet, but it is officially Fall! Maybe that doesn’t mean cozy sweater weather and s’mores by the fire, but it does involve football, and that means game day parties and game day food! Read on for suggestions on how to host the perfect game day party with our help.
We know you have a lot going on during this season of sports: monitoring your fantasy league, driving to your alma mater to cheer on your college team, yelling at the refs through the tv…. You made the right choice by letting us handle the most important (albeit, stressful) part of hosting a game day party: the food! But where should you start?
WINGS
Truly a game day original. With both the boneless and traditional wing options offered in your choice of honey Sriracha, traditional buffalo sauce or dry rub, you will please everyone with these show stoppers (even your neighbor who, at this point, has to be rooting for the other team just to annoy you). Plus, as if the wings aren’t good enough on their own, you can spike them into your choice of delicious jalapeño ranch or bleu cheese dipping sauce. These options make the sticky hands more than worth it!
TENDERS
Perhaps you don’t like to root for the mainstream team or food (like wings) but you are loyal to a classic. In that case, maybe some of our hand-cut, double battered Harlem Chicken Tenders are more your speed. I mean really, who could turn down these juicy, crispy tenders- especially when they come with our *pauses to wipe drool off mouth* Mississippi Comeback sauce. Add some fries or onion rings on the side and you are guaranteed a win on game day, regardless of the final score.
SNACKS
That one friend is INSISTING on making that brisket they swear you’ll love, but you know you’ll be ready to eat your hand off before it’s done cooking. In that case, get some delicious snacks to hold you off! Quite honestly nothing goes better with a weekend game day in the fall than some hot cheesy queso or some bacon-topped cheese fries.
LOCKHART LEGEND
If you like to settle in on the couch for game day without getting up for snacks and risking losing your prime spot, perhaps the hearty Lockart Legend is for you! After downing the applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, two onion rings & sliced pickles, you will be fueled up for an afternoon of uninterrupted game watching.
