Grub Burger Bar is like our baby, and on Saturday, March 4, our baby is turning 5 years old! We’re so excited about this milestone that we’re giving away tons of cool stuff all week to celebrate. We recently sat down with Jeff Click, the managing partner of our College Station location, to hear his reflections about the past five years and learn more about what’s to come.

Jeff has been with Grub Burger Bar ever since it was just a twinkle in owner Jimmy Loup’s eye. In the beginning, Jeff had no idea that he’d become such a big part of the team, but he eventually went from his job in event planning to advising Jimmy on locations for the very first Grub Burger Bar. The rest is, as they say, history.

“You can go to a bunch of restaurants and get a burger and fries,” Jeff says, but it’s Grub’s fun, laid-back and creative atmosphere that’s really worth celebrating. He credits this positive atmosphere to the great people Grub employs. From the cooks and dishwashers to the servers and bartenders, each and every person at Grub Burger Bar contributes to the good vibes that are obvious to anyone who walks through our doors.

Since we’re only turning 5 this year, it’s safe to say we still have a lot to look forward to, including opening up new locations all across the country. In the future, Jeff hopes to see more growth for the employees who have been here from the start. He’s also looking forward to celebrating this milestone with the people he works closely with every day. (He’s particularly excited for the birthday hats.)
